Rege Nephro has been officially certified as a 2024 KSII Zebra by the Kansai Innovation Initiative (KSII). The KSII Zebra certification is awarded to university-originated startups based in the Kansai region that are actively addressing social challenges, have achieved a certain scale in the market, and demonstrate strong potential for continued growth. The certification is granted following evaluation based on KSII’s criteria and discussions with the relevant universities and venture capital organizations.
The certification ceremony took place on November 29, 2024, where Rege Nephro CEO, Mr. Morinaka, took the stage to introduce the company and its mission.

Kansai Innovation Initiative (KSII) is built up with subsidies from the Ministry of Economy,Trade and Industry.
KSII consists of over 90 participating institutions (universities, economic organizations, financial institutions, local governments etc.) in the Kansai area and supports the business of startups with the aim of forming a university-launched startup ecosystem.
