Professor Kenji Osafune, Chief Scientific Advisor, Receives Award from the Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine

Professor Kenji Osafune, our founder and Chief Scientific Advisor, was honored with an award at the 24th Congress of the Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine, held at Pacifico Yokohama (Yokohama City) from March 20th to 22nd, 2025.

Award Details:
– Award: The Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine Award (Clinical Division)
– Research Theme: “Development of a Disease Model and Clinical Application for Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease Using iPS Cells”

Upon receiving the award, Professor Osafune commented:
“I am deeply honored to receive this prestigious award from the Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine. Furthermore, Professor Osafune’s book, “Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine” (Revised Edition), which has been released recently, was featured at the book corner of the congress and received high acclaim. We sincerely thank everyone who picked up the book.


Our company, based on the iPS cell technology cultivated by the Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA) at Kyoto University, will continue to work closely with Professor Osafune to deliver innovative medical technologies to patients suffering from diseases as quickly as possible.
