Rege Nephro Co., Ltd. (Headquarter: Kyoto, Chief Executive Officer: Akifumi Morinaka) has entered into a collaborative research agreement with FUJIFILM Corporation for the development of a human kidney chip utilizing nephron progenitor cells.

In this collaborative research, Rege Nephro and Fujifilm aim to develop a product that enables the rapid evaluation of the human nephrotoxicity of compounds.
