Professor Kenji Osafune, Chief Scientific Advisor, Presents at the 2025 Taiwan Regenerative Medicine Summit
Our Chief Scientific Advisor, Professor Kenji Osafune, delivered an invited lecture at the academic symposium “2025 Taiwan Regenerative Medicine Summit,” held at Kaohsiung Medical University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on April 10, 2025.
In his lecture titled “iPS technology-based regenerative therapy and drug discovery for kidney diseases,” Professor Kenji Osafune presented the latest findings on innovative kidney disease treatments using iPS cells, on which he has been conducting research for many years, as well as the application of this technology to novel drug discovery.
Following his participation in the symposium and his lecture, Professor Osafune stated, “In the future, I hope to collaborate with many researchers in Taiwan, together with Rege Nephro, and deliver regenerative medicine and therapeutic drugs developed using iPS cells to patients in Taiwan who are suffering from intractable diseases.”
Rege Nephro will continue to leverage Professor Osafune’s exceptional insights and cutting-edge research findings to provide innovative products and services in the field of regenerative medicine, thereby contributing to the health and well-being of people.
